Dr. Angeles earned her Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and pursued graduate studies at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry and has been practicing in the DC area since 1996. As an independent contractor she helped to open the Refractive Surgery Center at the National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) in Bethesda in 2000.
Dr. Angeles has worked in private and chain practices in the area. She has experience in primary care optometry, contact lens fittings, and refractive surgery including PRK, LASIK, and SMILE. She also co-manages in refractive lens exchange (RLE), implantable collamer lens (ICL) and cataract extraction.
In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking and yoga.
